This Conclave will bring together technology innovators, investors, government officials, and public and private sector health service providers to consider practical strategies for transforming health care delivery in Asia and Africa. Our Technical Partners include representative from Central and State governments of India and Africa.
A large number of technological innovations have emerged, in recent years, aimed at addressing different health-related problems. Despite the potential, very few innovations have had a substantial impact at scale. An important objective of the conclave will be to address the global commitment to achieving Universal Health Coverage by focusing on two important domestic policy related priorities – it is aligned with the Government of India ‘s recently announced National Health Protection (Social Insurance) Scheme targeted at Vulnerable Populations and more specifically its roll-out in States. The aim of the Innovation for UHC Collaboration is to convene all the leading experts to find ways to leverage the transformational potential of these innovations and accelerate progress towards achieving UHC in low- and middle-income countries (LMIC) in Asia and Africa.
The Conclave will involve participation of high level experts and policy actors from both the Government of India and African Countries and be a platform bringing together technology innovators, investors, state government officials, and public and private sector health service providers to consider practical strategies for transforming health care delivery in Asia and Africa.
