‘ReMeDi’, by Neurosynaptic Communications Pvt. Ltd, has won the prestigious NASSCOM Social Innovation Honours 2014, Jury Choice Cash Award! This award was given away at the Inaugural Session of the NASSCOM India Leadership Forum 2014, on 12th February, 2014.
Mr. Sameer Sawarkar, Founder & Chief Executive Officer, Neurosynaptic, accepted this award, which was given away by Mr. Raghuram Rajan, Governer, Reserve Bank of India, in the august presence of presence of R. Chandrashekhar, President, NASSCOM, Krishnakumar Natarajan, Chairman, NASSCOM, and R. Chandrasekaran, Vice Chairman, NASSCOM.
The NASSCOM Social Innovation Honours, since 2009, have identified and honoured innovative initiatives that have used technology for social impact. This year, the esteemed Jury has chosen ReMeDi® project as a high impact and innovative initiative, with transformative potential.

Neurosynaptic has won many accolades for the path-breaking work that it has carried out in this domain. Neurosynaptic was selected as the winner at Action for India 2013 in Healthcare Category, finalist at Social Entrepreneur of the Year 2012, by Schwab Foundation & World Economic Forum, as well as at Sankalp 2009 in Healthcare Category. Neurosynaptic was also selected for the “Technology Pioneer 2008” award from the World Economic Forum, Switzerland.
Rajeev Kumar felicitated with the prestigious ‘Karmaveer Puraskaar’
Rajeev Kumar has been felicitated with the coveted ‘Karmaveer Puraskar’ award for his commendable work in the field of healthcare. This award was presented to him on the 27th of February in New Delhi at the exclusive awards function which is a part of “iCONGO’s REX Conclive, organized on 26th , 27th and 28th of February 2014.
The CtrlS – iCONGO promoted “KARMAVEER PURASKAAR (KVP)” are the Global Awards for Social Justice and Citizen Action instituted by the people sector & civil society with various partner organizations, citizens at large and media supporters. ‘Be the change you want to see in this world’ is what every KARMAVEER inherently believes and practices.
The awards recognize and applaud the social commitment of concerned individuals, who have proactively and voluntarily worked for bringing a positive transformation in the society and the world we live in. Sanjay Bhardwaj has joined Neurosynaptic Communications Pvt. Ltd. as President – Business Development effective 1st March 2014. Sanjay brings with him a strong expertise of over 25 years in Healthcare space that includes Profit Center management spanning Diagnostics, Medical Devices / Technology verticals with a strong exposure across Asia & Africa regions.
Sanjay strongly advocates technology deployment for making healthcare delivery accessible, affordable and equitable for a large section of population, more so in rural India, where basic healthcare still remains inaccessible.
Neurosynaptic with its focused vision, simple solutions has amply demonstrated the effectiveness and robustness of technology based healthcare delivery across thousands of villages in India and other countries. However, with larger challenges like NCDs, Mother & Child care and resurgence of communicable diseases like TB, Malaria, the renewed focus of Team Neurosynaptic is to create more such solutions that can diagnose, screen & triage larger section of population, and make healthcare more affordable and outcome centric.
With Sanjay’s joining, Neurosynaptic plans to take ReMeDi® to more countries where affordable healthcare still remains a challenge. His mandate will also be to steer Neurosynaptic towards home based care / tele-care where technology can make huge impact through better disease management, improved care and lower cost without hospital stay.
